Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.

AMIK ITALIA SPA works with an integrated management system to comply with REACH. All products in our portfolio are EU REACH compliant.
Compliance implies that the substances, if not excluded from the regulation or exempt from registration, are registered by us and/or by our suppliers ensuring compliance along the whole supply chain.

CLP

Classification Labelling and Packaging of chemicals.

Within the framework of chemical related legislation, the CLP is the EU Regulation which aims at ensuring a high level of protection of human health and the environment.
Our dedicated team issues all the necessary safety documents and the relevant updated CLP-compliant E-SDS are regularly sent to our Customers by an automatic system.
Furthermore, in January 2021 Annex VIII of CLP came into force, triggering further duties related to UFI and PCN notifications of dangerous mixtures. Since the beginning AMIK ITALIA SPA is well structured to comply with these new obligations and stands by its Customers’ side to assist them also for this regulatory Task.

Regulation EC no. 1831/2003

FEED

The Feed Additives Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003) establishes a common procedure for authorising feed additives and lays down rules for their placing on the market, labelling and use.Amik Italia SpA is compliant with this regulation and we are certified under the Fami QS certification scheme to ensure feed safety and quality of the product along the feed chain.

Regulation CE no. 582/2012

BPR

Amik Italia SpA, together with its International Partners, is on the EU market with active ingredients/ Biocidal products compliant to the Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR, Reg. CE no. 528/2012). BPR concerns the placing on the market and use of biocidal products. In order to market a Biocidal product an authorization is needed and previously the active substance must be approved.

Great Britain REACH Regulation

UK REACH

From 1 January 2021 the UK has put in place its own independent chemicals regulatory framework, the UK REACH. In order to maintain continuity to the supply chain, Amik Italia SpA and its supplier partners applied for UK REACH, enabling Customers to continue to purchase our chemicals and retain their “downstream user” status.

Turkish REACH regulation

KKDIK

Turkish REACH regulation, abbreviated as KKDIK which stands for Registration (Kayit), Evaluation (Degerlendirme), Authorisation (Izin) and Restriction (Kisitlama) of Chemicals (Kimyasallar) in Turkish was published on June 23, 2017 by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation (MoEU) which is the responsible authority for its implementation and enforcement.Amik Italia SpA Amik Italia SpA and its supplier partners applied pre-registered several products under Turkey REACH to continue to supply the Turkish market and customers along the supply chain. The process will be completed by registration at due date.

Chemical Management

Safety data sheets updated and compliant with the regulations in force.

Fully adopting the REACH philosophy, Amik Italia SpA believes that the more effective way to communicate information on a substance is through the Safety Data Sheet. Any information related to SVHC, PBT etc is in the Safety Data Sheet. Our Team is always working to keep our SDSs up-to-date in accordance with the evolution of the relevant regulations.
